This practical and inspiring CPD training day will help you unlock the power of music to make your classes more enjoyable, engaging, and effective for everyone.
You’ll discover how to use beats, phrases, and rhythm to bring your routines to life — creating exercise to music sessions that are simple to teach, fun to follow, and adaptable for all abilities.
You’ll leave the day with new ideas, fresh choreography, and the confidence to let the music lead the way!
Learning Aims:
By the end of this CPD, instructors will be able to:

Understand how music is structured, including beats per minute (BPM) and phrasing.

Match movements to the beat and cue exercises in time with musical changes.

Use clear verbal and visual cues to help participants stay in rhythm and feel successful.

Recognise how music can motivate, energise, and influence mood and performance.

Adapt the same routine to different tempos to suit a wide range of abilities.

Plan easy-to-follow routines that flow naturally and keep everyone moving with confidence.

The training day is 10am-4pm.
