Product Terms & Conditions – Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, we’ll resolve the issue promptly.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item is faulty or damaged upon arrival, please email us at info@moveitorloseit.co.uk to request a freepost return label. Items must be returned within 10 days of receipt. When returning your item:
- Include your order number, name, and address.
- Clearly state whether you would like a replacement or refund.
- Obtain a Certificate of Posting in case your parcel goes missing in transit.
Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll confirm the fault and either send a replacement or issue a refund to your original payment method. If you request a replacement item, we’ll cover the postage cost for sending the replacement to you.
Unwanted items
Changed your mind or ordered in error? You’re still entitled to return your item under your statutory rights. Please note:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
- They must be unused, in the original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.
- You are responsible for the cost of return postage.

Refunds for non-faulty returns will exclude original delivery charges and will only be processed once the item has been inspected and approved.
If you request an exchange (e.g. a different size or product), you will also be responsible for the postage costs of sending the exchanged item back to you.
FABS Training Course & Fast-Track Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for the Full FABS and Fast-Track FABS Training Programme (online and face-to-face). They are written in line with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. These Terms apply to individual learners purchasing training as consumers. Separate terms may apply for organisations, employers or business-to-business bookings.
By booking a course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- Reasonable Adjustments and Learning Support
Move it or Lose it Ltd is committed to providing equal access to learning in line with the Equality Act 2010.
If you have a physical, sensory or learning condition that may require reasonable adjustments, you must complete the Move it or Lose it Reasonable Adjustments and Learning Support Form and email it to: course@moveitorloseit.co.uk as soon as possible and before starting the course.
This may include (but is not limited to):
- Dyslexia or other learning difficulties
- Deafness or partial hearing
- Visual impairment
- Language difficulties
We will make reasonable adjustments where possible, provided sufficient notice is given.
- Booking and Payment
- Full payment must be received before a learner can be enrolled onto the course.
- You have 12 months from the date of booking to complete the course.
- If your employer is funding your course, written confirmation must be provided at the time of booking. You remain personally responsible for payment if your employer fails to pay.
- Payment can be made by debit/credit card or approved finance provider (e.g. Klarna).
A legally binding contract is formed once your booking is confirmed and payment is received.
- Price
- All prices are quoted per person and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Prices do not include travel, accommodation or meals unless specified.
- Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of payment provided that:
- You have not accessed any training materials (including eLearning, downloads or email attachments), and
- Any training equipment sent to you is returned unused, in its original condition and packaging, at your own cost, within 14 days of cancellation.
Refunds will not be processed until all equipment has been received and inspected.
Refunds will be:
- The course fee minus a £55 administration fee
- If Klarna is used, an additional 5% transaction fee will be deducted
Once training materials have been accessed, your statutory right to cancel is waived and no refund will be available.
- Cancellation by the Learner
If you cancel outside the 14-day cooling-off period, or after accessing training materials, no refund will be given.
- Transfer Policy
Attendance at the practical training days is conditional upon full completion of the required eLearning. If you have not completed all mandatory eLearning and coursework before the practical training dates, Move it or Lose it Ltd reserves the right to refuse your attendance and remove you from the practical training days. In such circumstances, this will be treated as a learner-initiated transfer and the standard transfer fee of £260 (including VAT) will apply.
To ensure you are fully prepared, all eLearning must be completed before attending practical training days. Late completion of required coursework and assessments:
A £50 late submission fee applies if you fail to submit your coursework prior to the deadline, and your certificate cannot be issued on time due to incomplete work.
If you request to transfer to another practical course date:
- A transfer fee of £260 (including VAT) applies
Upgraded Booking Terms (Optional Add-on)
If purchased, you are entitled to one free transfer only in the following circumstances (evidence required within 30 days):
- Illness or injury (you or immediate household member)Evidence required:
- Doctor’s note or Medical Certificate (MED 3)
- Confirmation that the illness/injury prevents attendance
- Proof of relationship (if not yourself)
- Death of an immediate family member (up to 35 days before course date)Evidence required:
- Death certificate
- Proof of relationship
Notes:
- The Upgraded Booking Terms fee is non-refundable
- This is not an insurance policy
- No free transfers will be granted for any other reason
- Transfers are subject to availability
- Transfer from online to face-to-face training is permitted only with payment of the additional £50 top-up fee
- Cancellation by Move it or Lose it Ltd
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances.
If we cancel a course, you will be offered a transfer to a later course date, either online or face-to-face (as appropriate), subject to availability. Please note for face-to-face training, we cannot guarantee that the alternative course date will be held at the same location or venue as your original booking.
We are not responsible for:
- Travel costs
- Accommodation costs
- Loss of earnings or other expenses
Force majeure events include (but are not limited to): war, terrorism, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, severe weather, or government restrictions. In these cases, you will be offered a transfer to a later course date, either online or face-to-face (as appropriate), subject to availability. Please note for face-to-face training, we cannot guarantee that the alternative course date will be held at the same location or venue as your original booking.
- Online Training Requirements
For FABS Online Training, you must ensure that you have:
- Reliable internet connection
- Updated internet browser
- Access to Zoom (video and audio enabled)
- A webcam
- Sufficient space for full-body visibility (head to toe)
If technical issues occur (e.g. poor connection, audio/video failure):
- We will assess the impact on your training
- You may be required to submit a recorded exercise demonstration or re-attend training
- Additional fees may apply
The Transfer and Cancellation Policies apply equally to online training.
- Referrals
Assessment methods will be explained at the start of the course. If you are required to retake your practical assessment, this must be completed within 12 months of the original booking date.
You may choose one of the following reassessment options:
Option 1: Attend another 2-day practical training course
- Fee: £260 (including VAT)
- Attendance is subject to availability and may be at a different venue
- Travel, accommodation and any additional costs are your responsibility
Option 2: One-to-one online reassessment with a Master Trainer
- Duration: approximately 1.5 hours
- Fee: £190 (including VAT)
For the online reassessment option, you must ensure you have:
- Access to Zoom with video and audio enabled
- A stable internet connection
- A webcam positioned so you can be seen head to toe throughout
- A minimum of 3 square metres of clear exercise space
- A suitable chair for exercise demonstrations
- A safe, quiet environment that is pet and animal free for the duration of the session
If these requirements are not met on the day, the reassessment may be terminated and a new booking (with applicable fees) will be required.
- Fitness to Participate
By enrolling on this course, you confirm that you are medically fit to participate in practical exercise training. You are responsible for informing Move it or Lose it Ltd of any medical condition, injury or circumstance that may affect your ability to safely take part in practical sessions. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw participation from any learner where their involvement presents a health and safety risk.
- Professional Conduct
Learners are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards trainers and other participants at all times. Move it or Lose it Ltd reserves the right to remove any learner whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate or breaches safeguarding or professional standards. In such circumstances, no refund will be issued.
- Training Materials and Intellectual Property
All training materials, manuals, videos, routines, resources and digital content remain the intellectual property of Move it or Lose it Ltd. These materials must not be copied, recorded, shared, reproduced, sold or distributed in any format without prior written permission.
- Use of Name, Brand and Trademarks
Move it or Lose it®, FABS® and related branding are protected trademarks and trading names of Move it or Lose it Ltd.
Completion of training does not grant permission to:
- Describe yourself as a “Move it or Lose it Instructor” or “FABS Instructor”
- Use the Move it or Lose it or FABS name, logo or branding
- Promote or deliver classes branded as Move it or Lose it or FABS
These rights are reserved exclusively for licensed Move it or Lose it instructors who hold a current licence and pay the applicable monthly licence fee.
Any unauthorised use of the Move it or Lose it or FABS name, branding or materials, or any attempt to pass off services as Move it or Lose it or FABS, will be treated as a breach of these Terms and may constitute trademark infringement and/or passing off.
Move it or Lose it Ltd reserves the right to take appropriate legal action to protect its intellectual property and brand, including seeking injunctive relief and recovery of reasonable legal and enforcement costs where permitted by law.
This means that if you use the Move it or Lose it® or FABS® name or branding without permission, you may be required to stop immediately and may be responsible for any reasonable costs we incur in protecting our brand and enforcing these Terms.
If unauthorised use continues, you may be liable for the reasonable legal and enforcement costs we incur in stopping this misuse of our brand.
- Certification
Completion of training does not guarantee certification. Certification is subject to the successful completion of all required coursework and assessments to the required standard.
- Recording and Photography
Learners must not record (audio or video) or photograph any part of the training sessions without prior written consent from Move it or Lose it Ltd. Any unauthorised recording or distribution may result in removal from the course.
- Complaints and Appeals
Any complaints or appeals relating to training or assessment decisions must be submitted in writing to course@moveitorloseit.co.uk within 14 days of the decision. These will be handled in accordance with our Complaints and Appeals Policy.
- Course Changes
Move it or Lose it Ltd reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course content, trainers, venues and delivery methods where necessary to maintain quality, compliance and operational requirements.
- Safeguarding and Suitability
Move it or Lose it Ltd reserves the right to refuse certification or withdraw learners from training if they are deemed unsuitable to work with vulnerable adults on safeguarding, conduct or professional grounds.
- Limitation of Liability
Move it or Lose it Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Personal belongings lost or damaged
- Indirect or consequential losses
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
- Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Practical CPD days
General Terms
All CPD bookings are non-refundable. Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received.
If you do not complete a CPD within the same calendar year, your licence cannot be carried forward to the following year.
Transfers and Cancellations

More than 8 weeks before your course date:
You can transfer your booking for a fee of £35 (online) or £55 (face-to-face).
The fee must be paid before the transfer is confirmed. -
Less than 8 weeks before your course date:
Your booking will be cancelled, and you will need to rebook at full cost.
(If after 28 February, the standard rate applies.)
This policy helps ensure CPD dates remain viable and prevents last-minute cancellations.
Upgraded Booking Terms (£15 – Optional)
You may purchase Upgraded Booking Terms at the time of booking to allow one free transfer within the same calendar year, only if you cannot attend due to:
(a) Illness or Injury
For you or an immediate household member that prevents attendance.
You must provide a doctor’s note or medical certificate (MED3) confirming:

The illness or injury,
-
The date it first occurred, and
-
That it prevents attendance.
If applying on behalf of another person, proof of relationship is required.
(b) Bereavement
If an immediate family member passes away within 35 days prior to your course date, you must provide:

A death certificate, and
-
Proof of relationship.
The upgraded booking fee is non-refundable and may only be used once per calendar year. If all remaining CPD dates are full, you may upgrade to a one-to-one CPD by paying a £45 supplement. You cannot transfer from an online to a face-to-face course (or vice versa).
This is not an insurance policy and does not cover any other circumstances.
Move it or Lose it Network
Please be aware that completing the FABS Training programme does not permit you to call yourself a Move it or Lose it instructor or use our branding and intellectual property to market your services. It is only by becoming a licensee of the Move it or Lose it network at a cost of £24 per month that you will be able to do so.
Service
We will endeavour to provide the course as described on the promotional material. Please be aware, due to unforeseen circumstances details may need to be altered, however the overall quality of the course will not be diminished and we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible of any changes.
Limit of liability
Move it or Lose it Ltd is only liable up to the cost of your course and cannot be held responsible for damage and/or loss to your personal possessions.
Your responsibilities
You accept that our courses have a practical component, which if applied inappropriately may involve elements of risk or discomfort. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you take personal responsibility for your own actions. Move it or Lose it Ltd take no responsibility for damage, death or injury caused to you or by you as a result of participation. You must at all times work within your own ability and scope of practice. We reserve the right to refuse your acceptance on a course if we feel it is outside your scope of practice and may put other participants at risk of injury or discomfort. You must be physically able to partake in the course and if you do have any injuries, discomfort or prior knowledge that is relevant to any activities being performed it is your responsibility to make those known. We reserve the right to remove any person from a course if their behaviour is deemed by the tutor to be detrimental to the group, unsafe or adversely affecting the groups’ enjoyment. We will not be liable for any refund in these circumstances. It is your responsibility to ensure that you attend all sessions. Move it or Lose it Ltd will reserve the right to ask you to make up lost time at your own expense, if the tutor feels the extra time is needed. Move it or Lose it Ltd ask that you inform tutor(s) of any time you may miss and discuss how to make this time up if necessary. After qualification it is your responsibility to gain insurance (if appropriate) before you start taking exercise classes and help will be offered with this.
Using the website
You agree not to distribute all or any part of the Website or Online Content and Courses in any medium without our prior written consent. You agree not to (and not to attempt to) circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with any security related features of the Website or features that (i) prevent or restrict use or copying of content or (ii) enforce limitations on us, the use of the Website or access to the Online Content and Courses;
a. you agree not to knowingly transmit any data or send or submit any content that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, key-stroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware;
b. you agree not to use or access the Website or Online Content and Courses or any part of them for any commercial uses or for the benefit of any third party, including but not limited to:
i. the sale of access to the Online Content and Courses or any associated content;
ii. the solicitation of business in the course of trade or in connection with a commercial enterprise; and
iii. the solicitation of, for commercial purposes, any Visitors or Learners of the Website with respect to their content
c. you agree to use the Website and access the Online Content and Courses in a way which does not infringe the rights of anyone else or restrict or prevent anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Website, Online Content and Courses.
d. you agree not to ask for, collect or harvest any personal data of any Visitor or Learner of the Website or Online Content and Courses;
e. you agree not to post, upload, email or otherwise transmit to or otherwise cause us to email, transmit or otherwise distribute chain letters, surveys or studies, calls to action, junk mail, pyramid schemes, incentives (monetary or click-based), spimming or spamming, or bulk communications of any kind, whether or not for commercial or non-commercial purposes;
f. you will not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any content contained on the Website (including without limitation the Online Content and Courses) for any other purposes other than as permitted by these terms and conditions without our prior written consent or the prior written consent of the respective licensors/owners of the content on the Website;
g. you agree not to use the Website or the Online Content and Courses in any manner intended to damage, disable, overburden or impair any Move it or Lose it server or the network(s) connected to any Move it or Lose it server, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of any servers or networks connected to the Website;
h. you agree not to use any high volume, automated, or electronic means to access the Website or the Online Content and Courses (including without limitation robots, spiders or scripts);
h. you agree not to frame the Website or the Online Content and Courses, place pop-up windows over its pages, or otherwise affect the display of its pages;
i. you agree not to access or attempt to access any other Visitor or Learner’s account or falsely state, impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent your identity, including but not limited to the use of a pseudonym or misrepresenting your affiliations with a person or entity, past or present;
j. you agree not to force headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any communication transmitted through the Website; and
k. you agree not to send, knowingly receive, submit, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with these Terms.
l. you accept that Move it or Lose it Limited as an Amazon Associate earn from qualifying purchases.
Registration and Accounts
You undertake to us that all information provided by you in relation to your Learner Account is and will be accurate, current and complete at all times and that you will maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current and complete. You acknowledge that if any information provided by you in relation to your Learner Account is untrue, inaccurate,not current or incomplete, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to and use of the Website and your enrolment in the Online Content and Courses.
Student Conduct
Move it or Lose it promotes certain principles of behaviour to encourage a pleasurable learning environment. This means that there are certain expectations placed on learners. By registering with Move it or Lose it Ltd for a Learner account, you agree (in addition to your obligations as a Learner above) that you:
(a) will not let anyone else use your Learner Account;
(b) will not cheat on any assignment or exam relating to the Online Content and Courses, nor share solutions to homework assignments or exams;
(e) will notify the administrators of the relevant Online Content and Courses (“Course Administrator”), immediately if you become aware of any other Learner cheating or breaching these Terms;
(f) will not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any content for any other purposes other than as permitted by these terms and conditions;
(g) do not misrepresent your relationship with Move it or Lose it nor present any other false information about Move it or Lose it.
We reserve the right to refuse enrolments and/or facilitate transfers or re-assessments if we believe that it will not be in our best interests, that of other participants and/or the individual concerned to attend one of our courses. If you are removed from the course, you will not be entitled to a refund of any monies paid and will still be liable for any outstanding fees due. You shall fully indemnify Move it or Lose it for any loss or damage suffered by Move it or Lose it for breach of clause.
Audio and video recording
Audio and video recording of the course is not permitted without the written permission of Move it or Lose it Ltd. Learners may be filmed and photographed for for assessment/quality assurances purposes.
Medical
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are sufficiently fit and adequately equipped to participate on the course. You must tell us of any medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking. If for any reason you are not in a suitable condition to attend or complete a course or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the facilitator or tutor may ask you to leave the course. We will not be liable for any extra expense incurred by this and you will not be able to claim a refund.
Complaints
Should you have a problem or complaint on your course you must bring it to the attention of our staff as soon as possible and we will try to rectify the problem. If you feel that the problem was not resolved you must inform us in writing within 28 days and we will respond within 28 days to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of both parties.
Reasonable adjustments
Move it or Lose it Ltd will aim to facilitate open access for candidates who are eligible for reasonable adjustment and/or special consideration in assessments, whilst ensuring that the assessment of skills, knowledge, understanding and competence is not compromised. Reasonable adjustments may be agreed to help reduce the effect of a disability or difficulty that may place the candidate at a disadvantage during the assessment process. It is your responsibility to inform Move it or Lose it Ltd or any difficulty or disability that may affect your learning or ability to demonstrate competence.
Appeals Procedure
In exceptional circumstances, if a candidate is in disagreement with their assessor concerning the assessment, the candidate has the right to refer the matter.
Privacy
We will not pass on your personal details to any third party without your express permission. We may contact you in the future with details of future courses. Please inform us if you wish to be removed from our mailing list.
Move it or Lose it Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
