Osteoporosis Can Affect Anyone

One of the greatest myths about osteoporosis and osteopenia is they are only women’s diseases. This is certainly not true – we all have bones after all!

In fact, 1 in 5 men are likely to be affected by osteoporosis in their lifetimes. It’s important we all do all we can to keep our bones happy!

The Bone Cycle

Throughout our lives, our bones go through a cycle. In the same way your skin cells are being made and replaced, so too are your bones. Your skeleton is completely renewed every ten or so years.

Your bone density cycle is controlled by two main cells – osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Osteoblasts are responsible for building bone and osteoclasts carry your old bone away (Remember ‘B’ for build, and ‘C’ for carry away).

These two cells work in unison until the age of about 30. Problems arise when certain factors reduce your cell’s ability to lay down new bone. These factors can range from your age, frame, and gender to any medications you’re taking or simply if your mobility is reduced.

Get Active

Leading a sedentary lifestyle is one of our bone’s biggest enemies.

The stem cells in our bones (known as mesenchymal stem cells) need stimulation every 24 hours to stay active and produce bone. Without this stimulation, our stem cells feel as if they’re no longer needed and start producing fat inside our bones instead. Over time this will reduce the strength and quality of your bones which can lead to osteopenia and osteoporosis.

The Move it or Lose it mantra could not be more apt. If we don’t move, we produce less bone. Sitting in a chair in front of a computer screen will not activate our cells to produce bone.

Think Bones

Unfortunately, we don’t usually think about our bones until after we’ve already suffered a fracture.

But why is that? Without our bones we’re really nothing more than a gelatinous blob! Bones give us the structure and support, so let’s give them the appreciation they deserve!

This is where the Marodyne LiV device comes in…

Strengthening, Building, And Protecting Our Bones With Good Vibrations

The Marodyne LiV was initially developed by NASA as a non-invasive drug free way to stabilize the bone loss of astronauts. Now the technology is accessible to all as the world’s first, and only medically approved device proven to combat and prevent osteoporosis. And it couldn’t be simpler…

All you do is step on the device and let the gentle vibrations pass through your body – no lengthy set-up required! These precisely calibrated vibrations will stimulate your stem cells and keep them activated in only 10 minutes per day.

Is There Evidence It Works?

Absolutely! The device is backed by over 35 years of scientific research. It is certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI) as a Class IIa medical device and has already helped thousands of people around the world naturally improve their bone health.

What are the benefits?

The Marodyne LiV device is certified to deliver 5 key health benefits:

  • Prevent and combat osteoporosis
  • Maintain and increase bone mineral density
  • Boost circulation
  • Improve balance and coordination
  • Increase muscle strength

The device has no known contraindications or side effects and can be used with confidence as a standalone therapy or in conjunction with any other treatment or therapy!

But What If I’m Already Active?

The Marodyne is a great addition to the exercise you’re already doing. Standing on the device in the morning ensures your cells have been activated, giving you the confidence to go out and do your exercise knowing your stem cells are ‘switched on’!
